Aspen Dental to Provide Free Treatment for Vets June 11

Staff Report
BRADENTON – On Saturday, June 11, local Aspen Dental practices will open their doors to provide free care to area veterans.
Like millions of other Americans, veterans can struggle to find oral health care when they need it and are not eligible for dental benefits through the Veterans Administration unless they are 100 percent disabled, have a service-related mouth injury, or were a prisoner of war.
During the Day of Service, Aspen Dental dentists and teams treat the most urgent needs of each veteran to ensure they are relieved of any dental pain, including anything from fillings and extractions to basic denture repairs. Routine cleanings and exams are also provided.
This is Aspen Dental’s 8th annual Day of Service and is part of the company's Healthy Mouth Movement, a community-giving initiative that delivers free dental care to veterans. Nearly 500 Aspen Dental locations will be participating throughout the country, treating as many as 5,000 vets.
Appointments are required and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vets can call 1-844-277-3646 to schedule an appointment. Below, you will find a list of Aspen locations in SW Florida that will be participating.
