Because of some unsettled issues with access to the proposed site, commissioners voted to continue the project request to a future date so both parties can work-out their differences. – Approved, 5-1, Benac dissenting and Whitmore absent. (Benac didn't think the county should have interfered with what she claimed was a private disagreement).

County Commissioners supported the Manatee School Board's recommendation to reinstate impact fees on a laddered scale starting at 50 percent of the amount suggested by TischlerBise's study. – Approved, 5-2, DiSabatino and Smith dissenting.
