BRADENTON – The Manatee County Commission will have a public hearing on a six-month medical marijuana moratorium at its Land Use meeting on Thursday.
The temporary prohibition on allowing marijuana dispensaries to set up shop in the county has seen similar proposals by other local government boards, including the Sarasota County Commission and Bradenton City Council.
The meeting is set to start at 9 a.m. in the board chambers, located at 1112 Manatee Avenue West in Bradenton.
