Bradenton Blues Festival Returns Next Month

BRADENTON – The Bradenton Blues Festival returns next month with a full weekend of activities in its biggest year yet. From a locally-flavored pre-party to the main event and then a blues brunch, blues fans will not want to miss this special event.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, Dec. 2, with a free Blues Appetizer concert. Local favorites Ari & the Alibis and Damon Fowler, two of the best local live acts on the sun coast, will treat fans to three hours of music from 6-9 p.m. at the Riverwalk Pavilion.

The main event is on Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with an outstanding lineup of talented blues musicians on the big stage including, the Slam Allen Band, Larry McCray, Victor Wainwright & the Wildroots, Ronnie Baker Brooks and more. Tickets are $30 in advance, $45 the day of the show.

In addition to amazing music, there will be local craft beer, delicious specialty food vendors, and more. The festivities continue with blues after-parties Saturday evening with Biscuit Miller and the Mix at Ace's and local favorites Kettle of Fish at the Blue Rooster.

The weekend wraps up with a tasty and soulful Blues Brunch on Sunday, Dec. 4, featuring local act Doug Demming and the Jeweltones. Tickets are $30 and include brunch.

The proceeds from the Bradenton Blues Festival support Realize Bradenton’s youth, art, and music programs that are free to the community, including our Blues in the Schools program. For more info, visit the event website.
