Community Bluesman Dave "Biscuit" Miller Kicks Off "Blues Bar Buzz" Events at Ace's Friday

BRADENTON — To build hype for the fourth annual Bradenton Blues Festival, a series of local, live blues shows is being organized by Realize Bradenton. "Blues Bar Buzz" will make its first buzz of the year when Dave "Biscuit" Miller plays at Ace's Live Music on Friday evening. 

The Indianapolis-based singer and bassist, who fuses funk and soul into his blues numbers, is "a real crowd-pleaser," according to DownBeat magazine. Southwest Blues magazine has said Miller's music abounds with "energy and funk" and is "loaded with charisma," and The Daily Times has said that the bluesman cooks "a funky blues stew designed to get a club dancin.'"

Tickets for the show are $8 in advance, and $12 at the door. Tickets for the Bradenton Blues Festival can be purchased at each blues show event for a discounted $25 rather than the regular advance price of $30.
