Community Spotlight: Local Caregiver Recognized as Caregiver of the Year

BRADENTON – Pam Mateen, a local caregiver in Manatee County, has been recognized by her employer, Right at Home, as Caregiver of the Year for the U.S. Southeast region. Mateen received the recognition over roughly 20,000 other caregivers employed by the company in the region.

"I was so humbled, and so honored upon learning of the news," said Mateen, who began working for the company less than 3 years ago. She added that she feels blessed to be working for the company and her clients, referring to them as the greatest home health care clients one could ask for. "I feel that if I can make a positive difference in their lives, then I know that I've succeeded," she said.
