Inaugural St. Armands Seafood and Music Festival Coming in May

SARASOTA – Fresh seafood and outstanding live musical performances will be brought to Sarasota's St. Armands Circle Park next month. The St. Armands Beach Seafood & Music Festival will take place on May 20-May 21, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both days. Admission is free.

Seafood to be offered at the festival includes fresh wild alaskan salmon, middle neck clams-steamers, steamed crawfish, smoked fish, conch ceviche, crab bisque, lobster cake, and more. Meat entrees are available, including Italian and Polish sausage, steak sandwiches and chicken-on-a-stick. A variety of vegetarian and rice dishes are available, and beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic will be sold.

Performances are live on stage in musical genres from R&B, jazz, classical, calypso and Caribbean. Hosted by the Humane Society, the group's mobile adoption bus will be at the festival as well.

Parking for St. Armands Circle Park can be found on Fillmore Drive.
