Manatee County Mail-in Ballots Require 70 Cents Postage

Posted
BRADENTON – Voters who have requested a mail-in ballot should be aware that the return envelope for Manatee County's November ballots require 70 cents in postage, the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections confirmed this week.

"The ballot for the November 3, 2020 General Election is a two-page 14-inch two-sided ballot," the SOE responded to an email inquiry over the matter. "It does require 70 cents in postage to mail back. If there is not sufficient postage, the USPS is supposed to deliver the ballot and we would pay the postage due. However, when there is not sufficient postage, this may cause a delay in the delivery."

Voters are reminded that vote by mail ballots may also be hand-delivered to the Supervisor of Elections office until 7 p.m. on Election Day. The office is located at 600 301 Blvd West in Bradenton.
