Manatee Planning Commission Agenda Results: Aug. 11, 2016

BRADENTON – At Thursday's Planning Commission meeting, members struggled with a request to develop the Tides End project that lies within the Coastal High Hazard Area Overlay District and within the Coastal Evacuation Area Overlay District. In other business, citizens expressed extreme dissatisfaction in an applicant's privilege to request endless continuances that exhaust opposition at the citizen's expense.

Citizens claimed this is the second time many had to take sick days from work to attend, and accused Pat Neal (the applicant) of intentionally maneuvering the continuances to exhaust their efforts.
