Bernadine Hudzik, 93, of Bradenton, Fla., died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023.
Bernadine graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1974. After her marriage to John Hudzik, she resided in Levittown, N.Y. She worked at several clerical jobs while raising her daughter. After John's retirement, they returned to Edwardsville, where her daughter, Carol, and husband, Al Berrone lived. When Carol and Al moved to Florida, she moved with them.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, where her husband; daughter and son-in-law; sisters, Blanche Mikula and Alice Youngblood; and brothers, Charles, Stanley, Joseph and baby, John.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Veterans Cemetery in Sarasota, Fla., from Toale Brothers Funeral Home and Crematory. She will be sadly missed by niece, Alice Majeski; and family friend, Dale Bertan, who was like a second daughter to her.
