Bradenton, Florida - Dann Allen Bouwer went peacefully to be with his Lord on March 7, 2024. Born on November 16, 1953, in Grand Rapids, MI Dann was 70 years old. He moved with his parents to Bradenton, FL in 1956. He was the son of Don and Marilyn Bouwer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy (Zwiep) Bouwer and his two sons, Patrick Bouwer and Derick Bouwer, his mother, Marilyn Bouwer, and his siblings Doug ( Donna) Bouwer, Dave ( Patty) Bouwer, Debbie ( Dennis) Stout, Don (Teri) Bouwer, and Hiep (Kim) Truong. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bouwer and brother, Dennis Bouwer

Dann lived his life in a relationship with the Lord. He was a charter member of the Bradenton Christian Reformed Church and served faithfully in the church whenever and wherever he was called to do so. It was his greatest joy to serve as a Deacon for many years. He was always eager to share the good news of Jesus and His love with whomever he met – never shy to witness to God's faithfulness in his life and the joy of knowing Jesus as his Savior.

Dann started his working career as a US Postal Carrier. He later started working with his father at Ten-8 Fire & Safety and helped grow the business in FL and GA for 32 years. He was President of the company for many years and served on the Board of Directors. He also loved serving on the Board for the Salvation Army for many decades.

His family is grateful to God for the many years we shared with Dann. We are extremely grateful for the legacy of Dad's faithfulness in raising his children to know and love the Lord. This was always Dad's prayer and priority – that his children would love and serve the Lord as well.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Bradenton Christian Reformed Church, located at 4208 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, Bradenton Christian School, or the Florida Firefighters Safety & Health Collaborative in memory of Dann Bouwer.
