Eileen Frances Massé, of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2023, at the age of 91. Eileen was born on June 28, 1932, to Henry and Emily Cavicchi in Hingham, MA. Eileen was a native of New England and has lived in Bradenton, FL since 1991.
She graduated from the Academy of St. Joseph South Berwick, Maine for high school and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Walsh University, North Canton, OH. As a teacher, she taught a variety of subjects and grade levels throughout Maine and Massachusetts.
There was nothing Eileen enjoyed more than to share meals, talk, laugh and spend time with family. She was always there for her loved ones and made them feel supported and cared for. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Eileen was a devout Catholic and an active member of the St. Joseph’s Parish in Bradenton, FL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Massé; her parents and siblings, Wilbur Cavicchi, Helen Collins and Dorothy Cavicchi. She is survived by her sister, Yvonne Skinner; son, Mark Masse; daughter, Francine (Jerome) Lespasio; cherished grandchildren, Emerson Lespasio, Raquel Lespasio and Paul Lespasio along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in her honor is scheduled at 10:30 AM, Saturday August 19, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2704 33rdAvenue West, Bradenton, Florida 34205. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. All are welcome to pay their respects.
