Evelyn L. Noe, 88, died April 6, 2024. Just as she wished, she died peacefully at her home in Bradenton, Florida. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Egan in 1958 and Frank Noe in 1999.

Also preceded by her parents, Waldo and Emma Noffsinger. Evelyn is survived by her son, Mark Egan, daughter-in-law, Beth Egan, grandchildren, Ross Egan and Emily (Andrew) Peterson and great-grandson, Miles Peterson. Evelyn is also survived by her step-children, Brenda (Bob) Montgomery and Chris (Jean) Noe and her brother, Darrell Lee (Nancy) Noffsinger.

Evelyn was born in Continental Ohio, grew up on a farm and graduated from Continental High School. In 1956 she married Edwin Egan. They resided in Van Wert, Ohio. Her marriage to Edwin was cut short by his death in 1958. As her life unfolded she worked as a secretary and organ instructor. Evelyn had one son from her first marriage, Mark Egan. In 1963 she and Mark moved with her parents to Bradenton Florida. In 1975 Evelyn married Frank Noe. Throughout their marriage they enjoyed traveling extensively, ultimately becoming travel guides. In 1996 Evelyn and Frank bought a home in Bradenton in Village Green. Evelyn enjoyed living in her home in Florida and summer home in Van Wert Ohio.

Evelyn was a devout woman of Christian faith. Throughout her life she had memberships at The Church of the Brethren, Bayshore Gardens Community Church and First Church of the Nazarene. She was an accomplished musician (church organist), member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and loving and doting mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.

A Memorial Service is being planned for Evelyn on June 21st in Van Wert, Ohio at the Brickner Funeral Home.
