Helen Frances Eason passed away peacefully into Heaven on March 8, 2024. Helen was born March 4, 1938, in Providence, Rhode Island to Andrew Gordon Hamill and Helen Frances Aspinall, later to be raised by Gerry Foster Ball after the passing of her father. She moved to Bradenton, Florida during her fifth-grade year where she met her future husband, Dewey Eason.

Helen was a proud member of the Manatee County High School Drill Team where she first learned to do a perfect headstand! In addition to her amazing dance abilities, she was also awarded a trophy for "Most Improved Bowler" that she would gladly tell you about every chance she got! Helen was also a member of Mam'Selles Service Club. In 1974, Helen was Queen Athena for the King Neptune Frolics in Sarasota. She was the President of the Christian Women's Club and was a former Church Secretary for the First Church of God. She was even a huge part in hundreds of marriages in Bradenton while owning The Beautiful Bride, Discount Bridal Outlet and the Wedding Package.

After graduating MCHS in 1956, Helen and Dewey were wed and brought three amazing children into the world, Steve Eason (Candy), Donna Eason, and Susan Harrigan (Bob). Of all her accomplishments, and travels around the world, Helen was most proud of her children, 8 grandchildren, Caroline Berry Picard (Jonathan), Crystal Berry King (Luke), Brittney Christie Johnson (Chris), Rachel Eason Mixon (Steve), Bryan Christie, Austin Eason, Bailey Christie, Emma Harrigan and 10 great-grandchildren. Every day with Helen was a party and she threw some amazing parties. From Every Bunny Loves to Color Easter Eggs, to the Great Pumpkin Carve Out, to the Annual Gathering of Family and Friends Christmas Pageant, Helen wanted everyone to enjoy themselves because time with family was her most cherished time spent. The Christmas Pageant was Helen's pride and joy and basically all she thought about all year long.

Helen had a unique way of getting everyone together to dress up, be silly and spend quality time with all the important people in her life. If you ever had the privilege of meeting Helen, Nana, or whatever name fits your world got a little brighter. Her signature song will always and forever be something passed down through the generations because the words ring so true.

"I love you a bushel and a peck. A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. A hug around the neck, a barrel and a heap. A barrel and a heap and I'm talking in my sleep about you, cause I love you."

A Celebration of Life will be held 9:00 AM with Services to follow at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 14, 2024, with the Reverend Brother Robert Allen Officiating at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West Bradenton, FL 34209. 34209.
