John R Cicotta, 89, of Bradenton, Florida, peacefully passed away March 9, 2024.
John, "John Dear" is predeceased by his father, Thomas Cicotta; mother, Helen Cicotta (Gangi); and daughter, Helen Cicotta. He is survived by his wonderful wife, Ruth Cicotta (Schasel); daughters, Christine Krieger (Brian) and Stacey Cicotta; son, Tom Cicotta (Jeralyn); brother, Ronald Cicotta (Beverly); step children, Bruce Coyle (Lisa), Robert Coyle, and Beverly Tymenski (Coyle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John served as a Lieutenant in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He was an Aquinas and John Carroll University Alumni.
John loved golf and was a longtime member of Clifton Springs Golf Club. He also loved traveling and was an avid outdoorsman. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at Richard H Keenan Funeral Home at 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd, Fairport, NY. A private Memorial and interment will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at White Haven Memorial Park.
