First, Thomas Piketty’s “Capital in the 21st Century” discusses income inequality, wealth concentration at the top, public economics, and improvements for citizens with democratic capitalism.
Second, Sinclair Lewis’s “It Can’t Happen Here,” a novel about the fascist takeover of the US. It can happen in this 2024 election if the one GOP candidate who has already told us his plans if he gets elected to the presidency.
