Mary Louise (Green) Lang was born on October 1, 1937, in Ellenton, Florida to the late Willie and Sylvia (Carnes) Green. She passed on March 8, 2024 in Bradenton, Florida at the age of 86.
Mary married the late Roman Lang Sr. on August 25, 1956. She attended Manatee County Schools. She was an employee of Manatee County School District and a homemaker for over 35 years. She was a lifelong member of Greater Saint Luke Primitive Baptist Church and a member of the choir.
Mary enjoyed cooking and caring for others. She was the perfect example of love and well known in her community. She loved her family and was always there whenever someone needed her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Phyllis Lang; her brothers Johnny, Artis, Perry, Kary, Jessie, and Emery Green; Her grandson James Lang-Simmons; great grandsons MyQuarios Kelly, Suave Frazier Jr., and Frederick Shaw.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories: Her children, James (Bubba) Lang Sr., Roman Lang Jr., Dwayne (Chad) Lang, Lelia Lang-Marshall (Johnnie), Tangermaria Lang all of Palmetto, Florida; sister in-law Earlene Green; 22 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; god children Kassidy Brewer, Frenia Fields, Juan Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
