Barbara Sanfanandre, age 76, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
Barbara Ann Sanfanandre, daughter of the late Mildred Deese was born on March 21, 1946, in West Palm, Florida. Soon after birth, she was adopted by a loving couple, Anna Rea and Troy Carl Cook who both have preceded her death.
Barbara attended Cocoa High School in Brevard county and graduated with her class of 1964. She worked for the Southern Bell company in Cocoa where she was a switchboard operator. At age 21 she married the love of her life, John Sanfanandre. They were married for 55 golden years. John was in the Air Force so they moved around some after they were married and she enjoyed being a housewife. After waiting 8 years she had her only daughter, Una. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her remaining years in Bradenton, Florida.
She loved cats, giraffes, reading, country music, travel, and chocolate. Most of all she loved Jesus, her family, and friends. A beautiful person inside and out she was treasured and loved by all. She Departed this life on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at home. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, John Sanfanandre; daughter, Una Hines; grandchildren, Troy Sanfanandre, Selena Rowe, Robert Hines Jr and Reana Hines; two great-grandchildren; half-sister, Beverly Melton; her cat Snoopy and a host of relatives, loved ones, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Community Outreach, 650 27th St E Bradenton, FL 34208 on March 18, 2023, at 1:00 pm.
