Cullen Hal McRae, 49, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on March 5, 2023.

He was born April 15, 1973, in Bradenton, Florida to Harold and Johncyna (Williams) McRae. He graduated from Manatee High School in 1991, attended Manatee Junior College (now State College of Florida) and played baseball for the Lancers. He attended Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, FL, and played baseball for the Rattlers. He graduated with a BS in Broadcasting and Journalism in 1996. After college graduation, Cullen worked for the Florida Marlins Baseball Team as a Video Content Manager, Video Coaching Coordinator and Traveling Secretary Assistant from 1998-2015. After working in various video-producing jobs in South Florida, Cullen relocated back to Bradenton in 2020 where he was in training for a management position with a national restaurant chain.

Cullen was a loving father to his children. He took them on many excursions throughout the years. Most of all he loved the time he got to spend "one on one" with his son for the last two years. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His Parents; son, Cullen Hal McRae II of Bradenton, FL; Daughter, Alyssiana Renae McRae of Boulder, CO; One sister, Leah McRae-Houston (Renay, Jr.); of Apollo Beach, FL; Two brothers, Brian W. McRae of Kansas City, MO; and Harold McRae, Jr. of Orlando, FL; One Cousin/Brother, Keith L. Williams of Riviera Beach, FL; Two nieces, Wesley Renae Houston and Addison Shea McRae; Two nephews, Royce Everette Houston and Parker Renay Houston; Four Aunts, Deborah A. Williams Thomas, of Bradenton, FL; Alfreda McRae Brown (Kelly)of Avon Park, FL; Perditha M. McRae Williams (Arthur Mack) of Avon Park, FL; Anita Faye Williams of Loxahatchee, FL. One Uncle, Lawrence "Puncho" McRae, of Winter Haven, FL and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 am - 12 noon, Friday, March 10, 2023. Service will start at 12:00 noon on March 10, 2023, both at Happy Gospel Church, 1915 53rd Ave. E. Bradenton, FL 34203. Arrangements entrusted to Westside Funeral Home 204 7th Street West, Palmetto, FL 3422, 941- 722-4960.
