David Ahmad Williams, age 36, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2022.

David was born on January 6, 1986, in Bradenton, Florida. His parents are Pearlie Mae Williams and Lee Williams. He is one of eight children. Most people called him DJ.

He attended Manatee Elementary School. He moved to Prattville, Alabama in the late 90s and attended Prattville Intermediate School and Prattville High School, where he played football. He graduated in June 2004. While living in Prattville, he worked various jobs, including grocery store stocker and restaurant positions such as dishwasher, food preparation, and busser. He met Sharla in 2005, and the two worked at various restaurants until moving to Bradenton, Florida in 2014.

His first job in Bradenton was with Emerald Green as a landscaper. He moved to Dutchman Window & Cleaning in early 2017, where he started as a crew member. He quickly became one of the most requested technicians, which led to his promotion to crew leader in his first year.

David loved spending time with Sharla and playing games with Bella. He took tremendous pride in his home, dedicating hours to mowing, trimming, weeding, etc. DJ loved the water park and shopping for clothes and accessories. He took great pleasure in photo ops and making silly Snapchats. He loved working on his car and his bikes. Perhaps his best year was 2020 when he purchased his first home in Willow Walk Community and welcomed his daughter, Isabella Rae Williams. Most would agree that his greatest hobby was riding motorcycles. He started out riding dirt bikes and friends’ street bikes. Eventually, after many years of hard work, in 2018, he purchased his dream bike, a red and black Honda CBR1000rr. He loved that bike. He customized it with a voodoo pipe and frame sliders and changed many parts to his favorite red and black colors. He kept the bike in showcase condition. If there is one thing we can agree on, DJ passed away doing what he loved–riding.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Sharla, and daughter Isabella. His grandmother, Bettye Mitchell, his mother, Pearlie Mae Williams and Ben Jones and his father, Lee Williams. His brothers, Kendrick Sailes and girlfriend Kayla Albert, Marqus Evans and girlfriend Kiki Randall, and brother Azavier (AJ) & Marie Williams and brother Zabian Williams.
