Donna M. (Zenzen) Harl Vener, 91, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Peru, beloved 'Nonna', passed away following a brief decline on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Born October 13, 1931, in Peru to Chris and Mabel (Spur) Zenzen, she was their only child. Donna led a purposeful life of joy and devotion to her family, friends and patients. She was a registered nurse and her last 40 years of service were in the state of Florida, where she settled with her late husband, Edgar Vener, in Colony Cove, Ellenton, FL. Her energy was outpaced by few and her final years, anything but idle, were spent traveling, sharing time, and making memories with family members across the USA and the globe, and 'cruising' with her long-time partner, Bill Nelson of Colony Cove. If life is a marathon, then she crossed the finish line in a blaze of glory. Her generous and buoyant spirit will live forever in our lives. To know her was to love her...forever.

She leaves her three children (with the late, Don Harl), Kristi Lane (Terry Schwarze), Michelle (Manuel) Otero, and Scott (Barb) Harl; six granddaughters and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edgar Vener and a great-grandson, Shane Fultz in infancy.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Peru City Cemetery with Mueller Funeral Home in Peru. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209 is in charge of the arrangements.
