Eddie Koonce, age 51, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on May 3, 2022.
Eddie was born on September 21, 1970, to Gloria Jonesand Eddie Koonce Sr (who preceded him in death). in Bradenton, Florida. Eddie received his education from Manatee County Schools System.
Eddie had a passion for cooking new and exciting dishes which he learned from his grandmother and mother. Eddie was a social butterfly who could brighten up any room he entered with his smile and smooth charismatic personality. Eddie had the ability to make a complete stranger feel comfortable with his welcoming and kind-hearted spirit. Eddie was a skilled painter by profession and a hard worker. Eddie enjoyed fishing and listening to the smooth sound of old-school music. Eddie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He leaves to cherish his Wife Tenisha, Tampa, FL; 2 daughters Chanel Koonce, and Jamari Bruce. 1 Son: Marquis Koonce. Siblings: Stevie , David , Joan, Gale Presha (Bruce), Linda, Keisha, Craig Koonce, Jessica.
Grandchildren: Marquis Koonce Jr., Monroe Koonce, MakhiaKoonce, Makhi Konce, Jamari Jackson Jr., and Ja’mia Jackson.
His memories will be cherished by all who knew him. We love you forever and you will be surely missed. Eddie would leave a great impression upon anyone who met him. His Legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His love, courage, strength, faith, and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th St W., Palmetto, FL 34221. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Faith Temple COGIC, 1803 18th St Ct E., Palmetto, FL 34221.
