Norma Ruth Cecil Stolz, 94, passed away in her Bradenton, Florida home on the morning of Tuesday, May 3, 2022, surrounded by family.

Born to Donald and Ruth Cecil on August 20, 1927. Norma was a native of Marion, Indiana. She graduated Marion High School in 1945. A world traveler and mother of three, Norma embodied an adventurous spirit and a genuine selfless heart. It was the simplest pleasures in life that Norma loved best: fishing, gardening, root beer floats, cooking for her numerous friends and family, baking cakes and cookies with her grandchildren, watching sunsets on the beach and serving her community.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Ruth Cecil, her brother James Cecil, her sister Phyllis Anne McGill and her granddaughter Katherine Elizabeth Stolz. She is survived by her three beloved children: daughters Susan (Dan) Trovillion, Jeanne (Kevin) Taylor, and son Don (Brenda) Stolz; ten adoring grandchildren: John Clifford, Maureen (George) Schenck, Gretchen (Michael) Tucker, Becca (Coni) Clifford, Don Stolz, Heather Weeks, Tricia Lamb, Heidi (John) Jones, Bridget (James) Grey and Jesse Clifford; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Norma will be laid to rest with her family in Fairmount, Indiana. There will be a celebration of her life there in October 2022.
