Report Inappropriate Comments

I received the wrong VBM ballot, too. But, it's very understandable because I changed parties just a few weeks ago. In fact, over a 1,200 people by last week had changed party so that they can vote in the county commissioner race and SOE race. I called the SOE office to make sure I was going to receive my new party VBM ballot, which doesn't just transfer. Got that fixed over the phone in a minute. And, was told I could just dispose of the other ballot. There are many who don't understand election processes and procedures and would interpret that if I had two ballots on hand, I could commit fraud. But, it's very obvious and simple that I could not, because it would be caught immediately when vote was counted that I had voted twice, and then it would spur investigation into how that happened. With so many changing party in the last couple of weeks, this probably happened to a lot of us.
