Rev. Clifford Bennett Jr., of Bradenton, FL passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 91.
He was born in Atlanta, GA on February 12, 1931, to Fannie Cloud and Clifford Bennett Sr. Clifford was a passionate follower of Christ, enjoyed sports and spending time with his family. Over his 40+ years as a pastor, he served at First Baptist Church of Bradenton, New Port Richey, and Belleview.
Clifford is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, son Kip, daughter-in-law Peggy and, grandchildren Luke and Pria. He was predeceased by his wife Jean Williams Bennett.
Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Bradenton chapel. Clifford will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Jean, at Bethany Baptist Cemetery.
