Roller Derby Returns to Ellenton Sept. 24

BRADENTON – The Bradentucky Bombers are back! Your hometown roller derby squad will host its first home game since 2020, next Saturday, September 24, at the Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex.

The Bombers will host the Orlando Roller Derby, a team out of central Florida in a Women's Flat Track Derby Association competition. The event is scheduled for 5:00 p.m, and doors open at 4:30 p.m. 

Tickets are available for $10 presale or $15 at the door. Kids five and under are free. For more information visit www.bradentuckybombers.com or the Facebook event page.

There will be an after-party at Canopy Bistro and Bar (3503 US-301, Ellenton, FL) that starts at 8 p.m. All raffle proceeds will go to FabAF.

SEP 18, 2022  •  I had to google "FabAF." -- "Promotes LGBTQ+ awareness." Let's see how long it takes the total MAGA BOCC to nix this. If the event actually happens maybe they can call it the "Governor DeSantis Gay Girls Night Out." That would be cool! I'm in!
