American Youth Football & Cheer To Hold 2011 National Convention In Bradenton January 5-9, 2011

BRADENTON--Bradenton has been chosen as the host city for the AYF National Convention on January 5 – 9, 2011. ”American Youth Football and Cheer is the premier youth membership organization in the sport of Football & Cheer which strives to provide opportunities for the personal growth and development of young athletes while reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the course“, said Arielle Krieger, National Operations Director of AYF.

Joe Pickett, Sports Commissioner for Manatee County commented, ”We are excited that the 2011 American Youth Football & Cheer National Convention has chosen Bradenton for their National Convention host this year. Our community looks forward to welcoming the AYF delegates and families from around the country and ensuring that they have a memorable experience.“

AYF is the fastest growing youth organization in America. Founded in 1996, American Youth Football has grown to over 600,000 members with leagues in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Western Europe, and Asia. AYF welcomes everyone, regardless of financial capabilities, location, participation, and pledges to support youth football and

to do its best to help those leagues who need help in order to build stronger communities.
 
The American Youth Football & Cheer 2011 Leadership Meeting Agenda:

Friday January 7th at 6:00 pm - Kick off: The Coach of the Year Banquet at the Crosley Mansion.
 
Saturday January 8th: Meetings, breakout sessions and social gathering at the Beach House Restaurant for a sunset party and dinner and tour of the Bradenton area.
 
Sunday January 9th: Meetings and Wrap up by Noon.
 
Daytime meetings will be at the IMG Academies in Bradenton.
