Amy Leigh Sessions

Lakewood Ranch, Florida - Amy Leigh Sessions (née Torma) passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on March 8, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, she resided in Lakewood Ranch, Florida for many years, with a much-loved mountain home in North Carolina, where she enjoyed being surrounded by the natural beauty and wildlife.
Amy is survived by her loving husband, David E. Sessions, her children, Haley and Douglas Sessions, sisters Kathy (Torma) Crognale and Nancy (Torma) Policoff, brother Thomas Torma, sister Frances (Torma) Bearden, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank S. Torma and Marie Claire Torma.
Amy was an alumnus of the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, which sparked a lifelong passion for creativity. She had a profound love for animals, wildlife, and gardening. Above all, her greatest joy was her family, with whom she shared her deepest affections and happiest moments.
A service to celebrate Amy's life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Saint Patrick, 7900 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34241, with a luncheon for family and friends in the Church Hall immediately thereafter.
