This year's annual Migrant Tea, an event that takes donations from various churches and gives them to Manatee County's migrant families, will take place on Friday, November 20 at
Manatee United Methodist Church.
In addition to tea, the event will bring those families donations such as blankets and clothes for children. During the event, East Coast Migrant Head Start Project preschool children will perform, and David Carrillo, a former migrant student and Bayshore High alumni, is scheduled as a guest speaker.
The event starts at 9:30 a.m. Manatee United Methodist is located at 315 15th Street East in Bradenton.
