Annual Palmetto Veterans Day Parade Steps off at 10:15

PALMETTO — The Annual Veterans Day Parade in Palmetto will kick off from the Manatee Fairgrounds at 10:15 a.m. this morning. The route will proceed down 10th Avenue to Palmetto's Sutton Park.

Palmetto Mayor Shirley Groover Bryant invites everyone out to help honor local veterans at this well-attended annual event. The public will have a chance to meet and hear from local veterans.

There will also be a musical presentation and other ceremonies.

Sutton Park is located at 6th Street West and 10th Avenue West in Palmetto. The Manatee County Fairgrounds are located at 1402 14th Avenue West Palmetto, between 10th Street West to the south and Memphis Road to the north.
