Brother Anthony Wright was born July 12, 1959, in Miami, Florida, to the late Mr. James Wright, Jr., and the late Mrs. Oner Lee Wright. Brother Wright graduated from Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida. He was a dedicated employee of Tropicana in Bradenton, where he worked for over thirty years.
A committed Christian, he gave his life to The Lord under the leadership of Pastor S. D. Pollard. While serving under the leadership of Bishop Jason A. Williams, he faithfully served as Mount Raymond's culinary chef and was in training to become a deacon until illness prevented him from continuing his duties.
He deeply loved his siblings and children. Brother Wright generously shared his love and talent with everyone he encountered. Truly, he was a special soul-one of God's uniquely created beings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. James Wright, Jr., and mother, Mrs. Oner Lee Gainey-Wright.
He leaves to cherish his memory: One son, Anthony Wright, Jr. (Anastasia); two daughters, Nicole Gavin and Andrea Wright; three bonus daughters, Sheena Monroe, Vyent Newby, and Corita Cherry; two brothers, Mr. Jeffery Wright (Ilene), and his twin, Andy Wright (Sandra); two sisters, Acquanette McDowell (Jimmy) and Sandra Cummings (Johnnie); grandchildren, Shayla McDaniel, Malik McDaniel, Wadarius Johnson, Taniya Wright, Jayden Randall, Aysha Mays, Amoni Mays, and Amiran Mays; great-grandchildren, Malayah Joseph, and Allan Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
