Our beloved Elect Lady, Arnetha Belvin, was a warm hearted, caring, darling and overall exceptional human being. This woman exemplified some of the rarest attributes given to a woman of faith. She was an admirable woman that gave so much of her heart to those who knew her.
Arnetha definitely knew her way around the kitchen, but she was most famously known for her buttermilk pies that many are searching to find the recipe for. It is no secret that she was an incredible cook, however the one thing that supersedes that is her love and heart for serving God.
This woman was truly inspiring! What many would use as an excuse in her condition, in no way hindered her. Even when life threw turbulent trials her way, her trust and belief in God never wavered or failed. She was determined to sing praises from her heart & serve God with no restraints or boundaries until the very end.
Arnetha (Hickson) Belvin was born to the late Cora Grimes and the late Eddie Hickson on September 6, 1958 in Town Of Sodus, New York.
As a child, she grew up in Palmetto on the Canal Road on the same road as her childhood sweetheart, soul-mate and best friend. With the voice of an angel, early on she knew her gift and would often serenade David from across the street and let her voice ring loudly into the atmosphere.
Naturally, it's no surprise that soon after they began dating and started a life together after having a son.
After this, they lived a wonderfully blessed life and through her faithfulness to God, they were soon married. It was at that moment when she became the woman of God she was destined to be. This family was built on a foundation of important morals & ethical values based on Godly principles. Together, they raised their son and founded Pentecostal Of Faith Church in Palmetto, Florida.
Arnetha was preceded in death by her sister, Ella Mae Nune, her brother, Leroy Hickson, and a God-daughter, Jennifer Sims.
She leaves to morn & cherish her memories: her loving, strong, courageous, and God fearing husband, David L. Belvin, Sr.; son, David L. Belvin, Jr. of Palmetto, Florida; three grandchildren: David L. Belvin, III "3D", Davianna Belvin, and Ariana Belvin all of Palmetto, Florida.
