SARASOTA — "Viva Sarasota", a family-friendly Latino street festival, will make its debut Saturday when it arrives in downtown Sarasota. The free festival will feature cultural traditions of more than 50 different countries, from cuisine and purchasable art to live music.
Two main stages will host an array of bands and DJs playing a wide variety of music, including salsa, meringue, bachata, cumbia, reggaeton, and mariachi.
The event starts at noon on Main Street and lasts until 10 p.m.
