Arts and Entertainment World-Class Orchestras to Grace Van Wezel Once Again in 2016

SARASOTA — The 71st season of the Grand Performers Series will once again feature an array of high caliber orchestras that will play at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall throughout 2016.

Organized by the Sarasota Concert Association, the series begins January 26 with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and continues with the Cleveland Orchestra on January 31. The Miró Quartet will perform on February 15, followed by the Russian National Orchestra on March 8 and ending with a performance by Russian pianist Olga Kern on March 14.

Great Performers Series concerts are at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Subscriptions for all five concerts are $180, $230, $280, and $320.
