  • An ordinance approving a revised preliminary site plan pertaining to a tow acre portion in the corn of the 138.18 acres to add 80,000 square feet of commercial use and delete 13 single family residential units.
3.    ORDINANCE 10-44 (DRI #21) Gateway North DRI (Artisan Lakes) (to be continued 11/04/10)
  • An ordinance amending a development order to determine whether several changes constitute a substantial deviation to the Gateway North development.
4.    PDMU-91-01(G)(R5) Gateway North DRI (Artisan Lakes) (to be continued 11/04/10)
  • An ordinance approving a revised zoning ordinance and general development plan for several changes to the Gateway North development
5.    PA-10-20/ORDINANCE 10-22 County Initiated Kingfish Boat Ramp (to be continued 10/22/10)
  • Adoption of an ordinance to correct a mapping oversight and designate the 5.5 acres as R/OS (recreation/open space).

  • Adoption of an ordinance regarding land improvement to various elements that were already approved by the board including tree placement.
9.    PDR-10-05(Z)(G) Slab & Slab Lido, LLC/Ritz Carlton Members Golf Club
  • An ordinance for a rezone of 336 acres on the east side of Lorraine Road and south of Baden River for a general development plan for:
  • An existing golf course
  • 100 new dwelling units
  • Pool and clubhouse
10.    PDMU-10-08(Z) JG64, LLC/Gettle S.R. 64 Rezone
  • An ordinance for a rezone of 3.4 acres on the north side of S.R. 64 and west of Cypress Creek Boulevard from A-1 to PDMU (planned development mixed use)
11.    Z-10-04 Palomino Rezone (continued from 08/05/10)
  • An ordinance amending the official zoning atlas for half an acre from RSF-4.5 (residential single family units 4.5 dwellings per acre) to NC-M (neighborhood commercial – medium).
12.    PDR-04-55(P)(R) HBT of Eagle Pointe, LLC
  • An ordinance amending the official zoning site plan reducing the required side setback for the single-family homes. A stipulation was added regarding separation between accessory equipment and structures. A stipulation was deleted regarding education facility impact fees.

13.    Z-10-03 Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC/Duette Fire Station and Community Park Rezone (approved unanimously)
  • Commissioner Larry Bustle thanked Mosaic for a ”job well done“ as they presented final plans for the fire station and community park.
14.    ORDINANCE 10-58 Telecommunication LCD Amendment (approved unanimously) (full story)
  • Several residents came forward to voice opposition to the planned amendment although staff said it was just a cleanup.

COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
16.    Perico Park and Ride Shuttle to Beach (approved unanimously)
  • Commissioner Whitmore motioned to approve a decision that would kill a parking stop for a park-and-ride shuttle to the beach from Perico Preserve. She made the motion based on a memo where staff did not recommend the measure.
