Bottom of the Ninth Error Costs Marauders the Game

Bradenton – SS Greg Picart committed the kind of error that's tough to forget; the tied game bottom of the ninth bobble that anticlimactically ends a close and competitive game. Coming off of a masterful start, Brian Leach once again had good stuff, spreading five hits across six innings, before Mike Colla came on for two strong and scoreless frames.

FSL save leader Noah Krol came in to try and force extra innings, but the closer seemed especially hittable for the second straight appearance and got himself into trouble before Picart's error became elementary, a 4-3 loss. The Marauders are at McKechnie for one more game with the Miracle tomorrow, before heading down to Ft. Myers to take them on at home.
