Bradenton Fire Fighters Association Presents Donation to JFCS of the Suncoast

BRADENTON – You may have noticed Bradenton Fire Department personnel wearing pink shirts throughout October, in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer awareness shirts were also sold as part of a fundraiser for support services offered locally by JFCS of the Suncoast.

On December 17, 2015, representatives of the BFFA were pleased to present a donation in the amount of $1,000.00 to JFCS to help fund all they do for patients, survivors, and family members impacted by breast cancer. Andrea Feldmar, Project Director of JFCS's Cancer Support and Wellness Program, accepted the donation from BFFA members during the BFFA's annual Community Haven event.
