Bradenton Marauders Bounce Back to Split Series with Blue Jays

BRADENTON – After losing both games of a double-hitter Saturday night, the Marauders bounced back to hammer the Blue Jays 5-0 yesterday afternoon. Nate Adcock (8-5) returned to form on the mound, pitching six strong innings, giving up only two hits without allowing a walk.
 
James ”Bones“ Skelton went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s, a home run (2) and the game-winning single to lead the offense, while Calvin Anderson also went 2 for 4. The team is off tomorrow and returns to McKechnie Tuesday night to take on Lakeland.
