Bradenton Police Department Officers Attend Fallen NYPD Officer's Funeral

On Friday, December, 26, 2014, the Bradenton Police Department sent two representatives, Detective Ben Pieper and Officer Andres Perez, to New York to attend the funeral of slain New York Police Department Police Officer Rafael Ramos. The funeral took place on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 at Christ Tabernacle Church in Queens, New York.

More than twenty thousand law enforcement representatives from across the United States and abroad, attended the funeral to show their respect for the fallen officer and his family.

Jet Blue graciously provided round trip tickets to Detective Pieper and Officer Perez as well as many other law enforcement agencies both locally and across the nation.
