Business and Financial Allegiant to Add Tulsa to Non-Stop Service Schedule

Posted

BRADENTON — Allegiant Air will add direct, non-stop service to Tulsa, OK, to the company's growing schedule of destinations out of St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) this May. The booming Midwestern city joins five other cities that the discount airline has already added this year.

Flights to Tulsa start at just $80 each way and starts May 7, 2015.

Allegiant will begin previously announced flights to Pittsburgh Feb. 11; Indianapolis on Feb. 12; Richmond, VA on Feb. 13; Hagerstown, MD on Feb. 27 and Omaha, NE on March 5.

The added destinations will bring the airline to 41, which will be the most nonstop destinations of any carrier in Tampa Bay, including Southwest and other larger carriers operating out of nearby Tampa International.

Allegiant provides nearly the entirety of PIE's commercial flights. Tickets are sold each way, often for as little as $55-70 with bag charges beginning with the first carry on (though a smaller "personal item" is allowed for free).
