Business and Financial Realize Bradenton Names New Board Members

BRADENTON -- Realize Bradenton is a non-profit organization designed to build community by promoting economic development through arts, culture, heritage, and sports. Last week, the organization named three new board members who will join Realize Bradenton in their effort to develop downtown Bradenton as a preferred destination for residents, visitors, and businesses through arts, culture, sports, and heritage.

”The staff and current board of Realize Bradenton are happy to welcome new board members, Bridgette Halliburton, Stewart Moon, and Deborah Pfeifle.“ said Executive Director, Johnette Isham.

New members:

Bridgette Halliburton is a Bradenton native who moved back to the area in 2000 after attending school in New York, and working for Equifax Credit Bureau and Profit Recovery Group, a third party auditing firm in Georgia.  In 2007 Bridgette became an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer, who are fulltime national service volunteers that are stationed in the United States to help non-profits and governmental agency create programs to empower people out of poverty.  During the three years Bridgette was a VISTA Volunteer here in Manatee County, she worked with various agencies and programs such as Florida KidCare Health Ins, 211, Planned Parenthood, Florida Department of Health, Bradenton CCRA, and the Manatee County CRA’s, just to name a few. After attending the Governor’s Hurricane Conference in 2008 she became passionate about disaster preparedness and educating our residents.  Bridgette became a Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) member and is currently volunteering her time with the American Red Cross where she is on the Diversity Committee, Disaster Action Team (D.A.T.), is a Client Caseworker, and Community Safety Education Leader.  She is also on the Riverwalk Public Art Panel, a member of ArtCenter Manatee, and AmeriCorps Alum.  In her spare time Bridgette manages her family’s rental property and real estate acquisition business.   She loves running, traveling the world, and spending time with her husband, Sherod, and their two boxer dogs. 

Stewart Moon has been living in Manatee County since he was an infant and has worked in his family’s air – plumbing - and electrical company for as long as he can remember. Today, acting as director of Marketing and Sales for Air & Energy, Stewart is involved with many community organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors for Manatee Young Professionals, is a graduate of Leadership Manatee, does after school tutoring at the Anna Maria Island Community Center and is on the Manatee EDC Marketing Task Force. He graduated from Saint Stephen’s and then went on to get his degree in Entrepreneurship from University of Tampa. While there, he was awarded the Family Small Business Award from the Florida Family Business Forum.

Deborah Pfeifle is an experienced clinician, catastrophic case manager and life care planner with a background in insurance-related business management, sales, training and quality review. Deborah is the Chief Executive Office at Gould & Lamb. As CEO, Deborah works closely with her staff to ensure that customer service expectations, quality, and production requirements are met; and operational staffing models are adequate to meet the Company’s goals for growth and client retention. Deborah managed operations and was responsible for the training, quality assurance, policies, procedures, and workflows in creating Gould & Lamb’s final work product for 3 years prior to her promotion to the CEO position.  Deborah is involved in her community by supporting and promoting non-profit organizations such as Take Stock in Children Manatee and Community Coalition on Homelessness.  She also serves on the board of directors for Realize Bradenton, a community enrichment program.
