BRADENTON – A cold front will create hazardous boating conditions on Saturday. The 34th Annual Cortez Fishing Festival is happening this weekend.

  • The historical village will host a festival that includes live music, fresh seafood and family activities.
Fishing Forecast
NOAA has extended a cautionary conditions warning until tomorrow. A dry cold front passes through the waters Saturday night. A large area of high pressure will cover the eastern third of the nation and Gulf of Mexico into next week.
 
Thursday
Northeast winds around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Thursday night will bring west winds around 5 knots then becoming south after midnight. Seas 2 feet. Bay and inland waters smooth.
