BRADENTON – A walk, a bunt and two errors caused the wheels to come off for Bradenton against the Palm Beach Cardinals last night. Up 5-3 in the bottom of the 7th, Tyler Cox (6-2) finally had his hot streak broken, though through little fault of his own. After walking his first batter, Cox gave up a single only to have runners advanced by a sacrifice bunt.
A fielding error by Shelby Ford at short stop allowed both to score and a throwing error by Jeremy Farrell brought another run around as Palm Beach went up 6-5, which would be the final. Eric Fryer led the offense, going 2-4 with 2 RBI. Farrell had an RBI double, while going 1-4 in his return. The series continues tonight in Palm Beach.
