Centerstone Rape Crisis Services to Promote Sexual Assault Awareness Month Through Event Series

BRADENTON – A series of events to help elevate awareness of sexual assault and its victims will be hosted by Bradenton's Centerstone Rape Crisis Service next month. The events consist of a painting class on Sunday, April 3; a community rally on Friday, April 8, and a candlelight vigil on Monday, April 11.

The painting class will be guided by Brandon Patefish, an instructor at the art studio, Bradenton Painting with a Twist. It will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the studio, which is located at 5917 Manatee Avenue West, Suite 209 in Bradenton. Registration is $35 per seat; to register, click here or call 941-795-7928.

The rally will be held at CRCS from 3 to 5 p.m. CRCS is located at 383 6th Avenue West in Bradenton. The vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m. at River Life Church, located at 1012 57th Street East in Bradenton.
