Charles R Gaddy, a US Navy veteran and a volunteer of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, passed away on March 19, 2025. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 yrs, Sara P (Sally) Gaddy, parents, Herman M and Nina W Gaddy, and sister, Eva Link.
He is survived by his son, Keith B. Gaddy, daughter Elizabeth Ryan (Jeff) Benge, granddaughters Nicole M (Christopher) Couture and Rachael E Gaddy, siblings Kenneth Gene (Kathy) Gaddy, Dea Russell, and Michael (Mary) Gaddy. A resident of Bradenton since 1986, Charles retired from Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union in 2004.
He and Sally were finally able to spend many months each year at their cottage in Ludington, MI, which they bought in 1978. A family service will be held at a later date.
