It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear wife and mother, Cheryl Lynn Perge (née Preisse). She passed peacefully in her sleep September 5, 2024, in Bradenton, Florida.
Cheryl was born October 23,1958, in Akron, Ohio. She is an alumnus of Manchester High School and throughout her life she kept her group of school friends close. She retired from Diamond Line Containers in Akron. She and her husband, Jerry, moved to Bradenton after retirement.
Cheryl prioritized finding joy in life and sharing it with others. With her positive attitude, genuine acceptance, and unwavering patience, she handled the hard stuff with grace and ease. Her witty sense of humor was infectious. Her cheerful personality made her the life of every party, she will be remembered for her fervor for life and all its opportunity. Her departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives, yet we find comfort in our memories and everlasting love she shared.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Preisse and mother, Dorothy Perry. She is survived by her husband, Jerry, sons, Rob and Chris, grandson, Gage, sister, Susan, brother, Russell and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, service to follow 7:00 PM at Browns and Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207.
