BRADENTON — For the 18th consecutive year, AAA will offer its Tow to Go program for people needing a safe ride home for themselves and their vehicle. Cosponsored by Anheuser-Busch, the program will last until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The program has safely removed more than 24,000 impaired drivers from the roads since its inception. “Memorial Day weekend is a great time to spend with family and friends,” said Gerry Gutowski, Senior Vice President, Automotive Services, The Auto Club Group. “Please keep those special people in mind by not letting them drive impaired.”
By calling Tow to Go, AAA will arrive to safely transport the caller and vehicle home or to a safe place within 10 miles.
The service is available for AAA members and non-members alike and is offered based on availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks. To request the service, call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
