Community Manatee Animal Services Overflowing With Pets, Needs Adopters

PALMETTO — Manatee Animal Services in Palmetto is asking potential adopters to stop by their shelter and take a look at loving cats and dogs needing homes. The kennel currently has an overabundance of both.

As of Tuesday, the shelter has 142 dogs (62 over capacity). MAS has also advised it is overflowing with naturally fed—not bottled—kittens.

The shelter is located at 305 25th Street West in Palmetto. People interested in adopting can visit Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 941-742-9433 or visit their website.
