Community Manatee County Animal Services Offers Back to School Specials Throughout August

MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County Animal Services is offering  Back to School Specials for the month of August.  Adoption fee for dogs is $80, adoption fee for cats is $60. This fee does not include the certificate/tag, required for county residents. All adoption animals are spayed or neutered, have current vaccines, health checked and have a microchip.

”Come down to Animal Services and help us help the animals.“ said Animal Services Chief Kris Weiskopf. ”We have a wide variety of family friendly cats and dogs available at both of our adoption facilities. If we all work together we can reach our goal.“

The special is available at both Animal Services locations: in Palmetto, 305 25th St. W. (open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and in Bradenton, 1002 B., Manatee Ave. W., (open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Preview available animals by visiting www.mymanatee.org/pets.
