Community Missing Child Last Seen in East Bradenton

BRADENTON – Deputies with the MCSO are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl. Valerie Davis was at a Taco Bell restaurant at 6310 E. State Road 70 with her mother, Marcela Gonzalez last Thursday. Gonzalez works there and had her daughter with her because school was on break. Davis left the Taco Bell, traveling on foot, around 5:30 or 6 p.m. She was seen shortly after in the River Landings subdivision nearby, according to the MCSO report.

The girl is about 5'5 and weighs around 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink pants and a black shirt. Davis' hair is cut short in the back and is longer on the sides. She may be carrying a brown backpack. Anyone who has seen her or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the sheriff's office at 941-747-3011, ext. 2260.
